Product Description
Neytiri's got the blues. Also, a bow and arrow. Striking action figure based on the hit movie Avatar! Graceful, fierce, and intelligent. She's a must for any Avatar collection! This graceful, fierce, and intelligent member of the Omaticaya clan is rightfully wary of humans. Yet Neytiri has become an unlikely ambassador to the Earthly colonists on Pandora. Bearing a striking resemblance to the clan leader in waiting in James Cameron's Avatar movie, this beautiful Neytiri Action Figure comes to you in 3 3/4-inch scale. She's a must for any Avatar collection! Ages 6 and up. Clan Position: Daughter of Omaticaya clan leaders Eytukan and Mo'at. Clan leader in waiting. Skills: Mastery of most Na'vi weapons, including various bows, spears, bolas, and knives. Banshee and direhorse rider. Hunter. Proficient in English. Avatar: On a deadly but mineral-rich distant moon called Pandora, ex-Marine Jake Sully is torn between duty and honor when he finds himself caught between the heavily armed forces of Earth's most powerful star-faring consortium and an exotic, noble alien race whose very existence is threatened by the human invaders.

Excellent Avatar 3 D Neytiri Action Figure February 20, 2010 P. J. Whitfield (lake zurich, illinois USA) Excellent job by Mattel in recreating the Neytiri character from the Avatar Movie. While she is very hard to find, she is well worth the search. The highly articulated action figure is a great addition to the Avatar collection. Her movements in the movie where closely assimilated into the movement of the action figure. The 3 D web cam itag makes this a fun item for the Adults and kids in our family. We had never purchased this type of item before and did not know if the quality of the recreated scenes would match the world of Pandora from the movie. IT DOES MATCH THAT WORLD and we are very happy that we bought it!
Good, but no bio-lume January 30, 2010 J. Stanfield My son loves this toy, but it advertised that it was glow in the dark, and it isn't. Apparently those are coming out later but the packaging didn't bother to explain that.
Pretty cool figure, but not perfect December 22, 2009 M. Elizabeth Roberts (The Retard Channel) 10 out of 11 found this review helpful
Neytiri was my favorite character in the movie, so she was among the first Avatar toys I bought. Of course, it didn't look much like her, but that's because Neytiri is 10 feet tall in the movie.
Pros: I've got to say that she is very detailed: her hair and bracelets and feathers are very intricately sculpted. Almost every joint is articulated two or three different ways, meaning she is very poseable.
Cons: The tiny articulated joints feel easy to break. Her tail doesn't turn, so it gets in the way when I try to make her sit on the Navi banshee creature. I almost broke her tail off because I thought it did turn (everything else is articulated). The loincloth gets in the way, too. I spent a long time trying to pose her on the banshee, but no success. Also, she does not have the Bio-Lume glow in the dark spots advertized on the website. At the i-Tag site, it says that version of the figure is "coming soon." It is also quite expensive for its size (maybe that's because of the i-Tag).
I can't review the i-Tag part because I don't have a webcam and cannot use it. It looks pretty cool, though.
The final word: This figure is probably best for adult collectors, because it doesn't seem tough enough for kids to play with.
One Significant Detail Is Wrong February 9, 2010 The Dread Pirate Roberts (San Jose, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Maybe only an archer would notice this, but the left hand is articulated to draw the bowcord with the palm in, as human archers do - but the Na'vi all drew their bows with the palm out.
Too small. March 10, 2010 Steven Bush The Jake Sully was the right size.I wish Neytiri was bigger. She is way too small. It should be the same size as Jake.
